During a working visit to Abu Dhabi, Albanian President Bajram Begaj met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. As part of the visit, President Begaj honored Sheikh Mohamed with the Grand Star of the Supreme Order of the Eagle, the highest state decoration of Albania, in recognition of his efforts to bolster ties between Albania and the UAE. Another focal point of the discussion was the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference, which the UAE is set to host in December. The leaders emphasized the necessity of international collaboration to tackle global water-related challenges and promote sustainability.
