UAE Weather Alert: Rain, Strong Winds, and Dust as Temperatures Hit 41°C

by admin477351

Rain and strong winds are anticipated in parts of the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, with wind speeds potentially reaching up to 50 km/h in inland and mountainous areas. Temperatures could escalate to 41°C in these regions, while blowing dust may impair visibility in certain locations.

The weather is forecast to remain fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds forming over eastern areas and potentially spreading to some inland and western regions in the afternoon. These developments may bring rainfall as low-pressure systems impact the country. Winds are expected to blow from the southeast to northeast at 10–25 km/h, intensifying during cloud formation, and coastal areas may experience winds up to 35 km/h. Temperature predictions suggest a range of 35°C to 41°C inland, 34°C to 38°C along the coast, and 26°C to 32°C in mountainous areas.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and into Thursday morning, potentially reaching up to 90% in some areas, which could lead to mist or fog, especially in coastal and inland locations. Sea conditions are projected to remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Further unsettled weather is anticipated on Thursday, with clouds likely to develop over eastern and western parts of the UAE, bringing another chance of rain. Winds could reach speeds of 40 km/h, accompanied by occasional blowing dust.

Partly cloudy conditions are expected to persist on Friday, with a possibility of afternoon rain in eastern areas. Increasing humidity could result in fog or mist overnight and into the early hours of Saturday. Temperatures are predicted to gradually decrease over the weekend, with Saturday potentially bringing convective clouds to eastern and northern areas, while Sunday is forecast to remain generally fair to partly cloudy. Humid conditions will persist overnight into Monday morning, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist.

The forecast suggests that Wednesday and Thursday present the highest chances of rainfall, followed by more stable conditions, cooler temperatures, and recurring risks of fog or mist over the weekend.
