German President and UAE Leader Engage in Berlin Discussions

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan embarked on a significant state visit to Germany, where he engaged in high-level discussions with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin. The diplomatic relations between the UAE and Germany were established in 1972, and the strategic partnership was formalized in 2004. The economic relationship has been significant, with bilateral trade surpassing $15.5 billion in 2025, demonstrating the growing economic importance of their partnership.
