As the new academic year begins, more than 1.2 million students across the United Arab Emirates have returned to school, welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He addressed the students, teachers, school administrators, and parents in an audio message, emphasizing the importance of education for the “future of the nation.” Sheikh Mohamed encouraged students to engage in continuous learning and to develop skills that will prepare them for the future, highlighting the positive potential of artificial intelligence and technology in their education.

Over 1,180 public and private schools have reopened, with the education sector seeing growth through the establishment of several new schools. Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also extended his welcome to students embarking on their educational journey this year.
