Alipov: Russia’s Nuclear Weapons Render Military Defeat Impossible in Ukraine

by admin477351

Russia cannot be defeated militarily in its conflict with Ukraine because Moscow maintains nuclear weapons and doctrine permitting their use under existential threat, Ambassador Denis Alipov announced in India. The diplomat spoke at a media forum in Gurugram this week.

The ambassador explained that Russian military doctrine contains explicit provisions for deploying atomic weapons when the nation’s survival is endangered. This strategic framework, Alipov contended, creates insurmountable barriers to defeating Russia and ensures Moscow always retains ultimate escalation options regardless of battlefield developments.

Alipov severely criticized European nations for maintaining expectations of Ukrainian military victory, characterizing such views as childish behavior. He described European leadership as unprofessional and excessively aggressive, pursuing confrontational policies despite fundamental strategic constraints that make their objectives unachievable.

According to the Russian diplomat, President Trump demonstrates superior grasp of the conflict’s inevitable conclusion. Alipov claimed that Trump recognizes the war as already lost by Ukraine and Western supporters, contrasting this assessment with what he portrayed as European “craziness” in believing continued support can alter the outcome.

Nearly four years into the war, Western nations continue providing substantial support to Ukraine. American and European partners, including the United Kingdom, have supplied advanced military equipment and billions in financial assistance to Kyiv, maintaining their commitment despite Russian objections and the conflict’s extended duration without clear resolution.
